COMPREHENSIVE VEHICLE INSPECTION PROCEDURE
VEHICLES SOLD AS COMPREHENSIVE INSPECTION VEHICLES HAVE A 6 MONTH / 10,000 KM POWERTRAIN WARRANTY
WORK ONLY TO BE DONE AT O'REGAN'S
1) ENGINE
Road test is performed to check operation of engine and performance, an audible inspection for abnormal engine noises, visual inspection for smoke from exhaust system, visual inspection of engine for active oil leaks, a lubrication service is performed if required.
2) TRANSMISSION/DIFFERENTIAL
Road test performed to check transmission for shift points being normal, check for slippage in automatic and manual applications, audible inspection for abnormal noises, visually inspect for active transmission fluid leaks, inspect level of fluid, audible inspection for abnormal differential noise, visual inspection for active oil leaks, check differential fluid level.
3) BRAKES
Road test for brake operation and performance, check for excessive brake pulsation, check for brake pull, check parking break operation, inspect brakes for wear and condition (a minimum of 3 mm on brake pads and 2mm on brake shoe material is acceptable), inspect brake fluid master cylinder level, check wheel cylinders for leakage, inspect brake calipers for free movement.
4) STEERING/SUSPENSION
Road test for excessive steering play and steering pull, (vehicle alignment is not checked unless road test results in excessive pull) audible inspection for abnormal suspension and steering noises, visual inspection for active oil leaks, steering and suspension components inspected for excessive wear, fluid level checked.
5) UNDER HOOD INSPECTION
Inspect all fluid levels, check air filter condition, visually inspect cooling system and radiator condition, inspect belts and hoses for cracks or deterioration, perform battery test and recommendations depend on test results, visual inspection for active oil leaks.
6) UNDER VEHICLE INSPECTION
Inspect transmission and engine mounts, inspect exhaust system, (exhaust is not poked or pried to test strength of components), check exhaust for leaks and being properly secured, visual inspection for active oil leaks, fluid levels checked, tires inspected for wear and damage and must meet mvi guidelines (tread depth at minimum of 2/32nd’s).
7) MISCELLANEOUSN
Check operation of gauges, check all lights, check function of wipers, air conditioning and heater operation checked, rear defroster and wiper operations checked (it is not required by motor vehicle inspection standards for these 2 items to operate), operation of power equipment checked (locks, windows, seats, mirrors, etc.), power antenna operation checked and if not functional it is disconnected or replaced with a manual antenna, horn operations, audio system, cruise control operation checked, door latches and hinges inspected for proper operation.
Most non factory installed accessories are recommended for removal.
6 MONTH / 10,000 KILOMETRE POWER TRAIN WARRANTY
Warranties the failure of:
Engine:
Cylinder head, block, all internally lubricated parts, manifolds, timing gears, timing cover, flywheel, oil pump/oil pump housing, water, fuel pump, harmonic balancer, OHC carriers, oil pan, engine mount.
Transmission/Transaxle:
Case, all internal parts, torque converter, transfer case, transmission/transaxle mounts.
Front / Rear Wheel Drive:
Final drive housing, all internal parts, axle shafts and axle shaft bearings, constant velocity joints, axle housing, propeller shafts, universal joints, locking hubs, front differential actuator, supports, front and rear axle hub bearings.
Work must be done at an O'Regan's Service Centre.
7 DAY / 1,500 KILOMETRE* EXCHANGE POLICY
O'Regan's offers a 7 day / 1,500 kilometre* exchange policy on all Green Light Used Vehicles. Should you be unhappy with your Green Light Used Vehicle you may exchange it for another Green Light Used Vehicle** at the O'Regan's dealership (location) you purchased it from.
*Days / Kilometres - Whichever comes first.

O'Regan's offers a $500.00 rebate* to graduates of any of the following Canadian educational institutions provided they meet the eligibility requirements.
Eligibility:
Graduates of any recognized Canadian high school within the last four years.
Graduates of any recognized Canadian university, college or CEGEP within the last four years.
Documentation is required: A photocopy of the diploma / degree / designation is required and will be kept on file.
Rebate:
$500.00 rebate offered to eligible graduates who arrange financing through O'Regan's Financial Services / Business Office.

Legal:
